can i get a vowel please?

i work at a cell company and we are often reminded that we must note accounts. note note note. however we are also told we must note everything but not too much, thus there's an entire list of abreiviations to use when noting an acct. drives me crazy. i opened an acct 1 day, trying tofigure out where a customerss pmt had gone. for the date in ? was this note. "....oc ci,wnt'd mk pmt inF. adv has 2tt FS as pmt's pst due. oc adv hs done bfr w/CS &dsn't want 2/b trx agn. tt meg NHQ , adv ok 2 tk pmt as is inF, but 2 adv oc that will have rst/sus fees. adv oc, oc unstds took pmt , auth #.......
took me 5 minutes just to figure out what the heck happened on that call. Eventually the payment was found and the customer hung up happy, or at least no longer unhappy. Out of curiosity i checked with our official list of abreviations to see if any of those were on there , a couple were : OC stands for our customer, TT means talked to, FS is financial services, not an official one but since that's where you would send a past due customer i assume that is what is meant. most of the rest are made up. not usually a problem. most of us in customer service do that just by ommiting 1 or 2 vowels but usually nothing too drastic. what's really insane is trying to read a memo like the one above that is 400 words or more.
blah then i come home and try to write a normal email and catch myself doing it still. i'll be like
Hi there
just wanted to let you knw , i tt mom and she adv that she'd be coming late to the party ....
sometimes i don't catch what i'm doing to the final spell check. then i have to go back and type all the missing letters in. takes forever.

another return filed!!

just logged off the H&R Block website. I am fully filed for another year. Huzzah! I know most people dread filing taxes, probably because most will end up owing, but i am still at a point in my life where I don't really own anything or get a ridiculous amount of interest on anything. Usually I get at least a little bit back. Therefore, tax time is usually a time of anticipation for me. I'm at my mailbox as soon as i think it's possible for my mail to be there (sometimes not until after 3:30pm) starting in january. This year it was something of a challenge. It's my first time filing jointly and filing state taxes. Website made it a breeze, except it kept asking me about deductions and things that i didn't know what they were. i actually do all of my returns by hand first though. Maybe i'm just a little bit paranoid about technology still, but i feel better if what i did matches what the machines tell me. Well, it took an entire two hours, but now i've got that great feeling of acomplishment. Very good thing since i've done nothing else today.
Nothing much going on here but then there rarely is. It seems to drive my brother and my husband crazy at times. I'll admit sometimes i get a little stir crazy too. Most of the time it's just nice to relax though. Play a little music, read a book. Sure most nights i could probably go hang at a bar with some friends. Some nights i do, every now and then. I am content to spend the night with my people though, or just by myself (long as it's not dark and scary) just hanging out. how drab i'm sure. makes me happy though.
seems the family has gotten into blogging. Here're some pretty neat sites to go to if you get a moment. http://www.meadowlarksmind.blogspot.com and http://www.universalinconstant.blogspot.com

a moment between moments

has a moment or two to spare so thought i'd drop a word or two into the inifinite sea of endless code that is the internet. it's gorgeous outside all glowing with pale winter sunlight. a little deceptive as it's really not all that warm. Soul is though, freed from the soggy greys of midwinter for a day and the soul practically burns with delight. wish my car had a sun roof. well, actually it does but it's more of a sun crack as it just kind of lifts up, rather than sliding back. It's actually a perfect day to go questing for a new car, but also perfect to do nothing at all but play at the park or wander about outdoor shopping malls. Scary though, this incredible taste of spring time, because i get soooo excited only to be plunged back into the dreary depths of bleakness come mid february.
well my moment is up, adios!
