status quo

well so i just got back from the eye doctor, got my eyes all diallated so please excuse any typos in this post. i can't actually make out what i'm writing. what a trip. luckily i mostly type by memory anyhow. so after an hour and a half of stinging eyedrops and stabbing beams of light my eye doctor has announced that there is really nothing wrong with my eyes other than the astigmatism they've always had. Well, he did say there were some teeny tiny spots that may 20-30 years down the line becine a cateract but right now they are only possibly causing minor refractions of light. No optic nerve damage, no neural palsys as far as he can tell. SO right back where i was before , not knowing what on earth is up with my double vision. Got blood work done when saw my primary dox and got a followup end of the month so i guess we'll see what she wants to do next. huzzah. Least i'm not going blind. till then though everything stays at the status quo, which to be honest, is livable. = )
